Windkanalmodelle der V1 nach Erinnerungsskizzen Londoner Bürger und ihrer technischen Auswertung / models of a wind tunnel of the V1 from the memory-sketches of residents of London, and their technical evaluation
Sie bestehen aus schichtverleimtem Holz und sind auf einen Metalldorn gesteckt, der im Windkanal den geringsten Luftwiderstand bietet. Die Formen ergeben sich aus der technischen Interpretation der folgenden Erinnerungsskizzen und ästhetischen Entscheidungen. Die jeweilige Größe der V1 ist so gewählt, daß ihr Transport nach London mit dem PKW möglich ist.
The models are made of plywood and are fitted onto a metal peg, which minimizes wind resistance in the wind tunnel. The contours are acquired through a combination of the technical interpretation of the following scetches and aesthetic considerations. The dimensions of the V1 models are calculated as to allow their transportation to London in a motor car.
